“We grow not only by learning, but by lifting others along the way.”
I began my journey with SUSS in 2015 while working full-time in facilities management. What started as a leap of faith to pursue a Bachelor of Building and Project Management soon turned into a rewarding academic path, I went on to complete a Graduate Diploma and Master of Built Environment in Facilities Management. Balancing work, studies, and community service wasn’t easy, but SUSS’s flexibility made it possible, and the experience deepened both my technical skills and personal resilience.
Professionally, I’ve spent over a decade managing infrastructure and facilities across public and private sectors. My passion lies in creating sustainable spaces through projects like solar panel installations, LED retrofits, and accessibility upgrades in schools and public buildings. I believe good facilities don’t just support function they serve people.
Beyond work, I’ve been an active grassroots volunteer in Kolam Ayer for more than 10 years. From coordinating Chingay and National Day events to leading youth initiatives as Vice Chairman of the Kolam Ayer Youth Network, community service has always been close to my heart. I now serve as Treasurer of the Kolam Ayer Community Sports Network, using sports as a way to bring residents together.
Joining the SUSS Alumni Advisory Committee is my way of giving back to the university that supported my growth. I hope to strengthen alumni-student connections and promote lifelong learning. SUSS empowered me to grow both personally and professionally I’m excited to pay it forward.
