Anil is currently a Senior Associate Lecturer with more than 12 years of teaching experience in SUSS and several polytechnics. He is a highly versatile educator and trainer in the areas of Sociology, Public Safety and Security, University Core Curriculum, and mental wellness. 

Anil is a pioneer coach in the SUSS’ Academic Coaching for Study Success Programme (ACP) since its inception in 2020. As an academic coach, he collaborates with students to identify their academic strengths and barriers with the aim of helping them make significant improvements in their learning journey. During coaching sessions, Anil pays particular attention to students’ mental well-being in relation to their academic life by sharing practical tips on how to build emotional and social resilience when navigating tertiary education. 

Previously, Anil was a Community Outreach Manager with the National Addictions Management Service (NAMS), Institute of Mental Health (IMH), and an Executive Director of a community drug rehabilitation centre.
