Ashley Yong (she/her) is an experienced facilitator specialising in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). With five years of experience, Ashley has facilitated DEI conversations for over 2,500 participants, including faculty, staff, and students at institutions of higher education. She is skilled in engaging both large and small groups, offering insightful and thought-provoking programmes.
Focusing on DEI and issues related to relationship and sexual violence, Ashley addresses critical topics such as power, oppression, privilege, bias, and microaggressions across various identities. She has also consulted for organizations, providing strategic recommendations to enhance DEI practices and support stakeholders from minoritized identities in fields like Earth Sciences. Ashley brings extensive knowledge and expertise to help corporations and other entities advance their DEI efforts. She holds an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University.
