From Vision to Validation: Caroline's DementiaCare Connect Journey
Caroline, a participant of SUSS Venture Building Programme, is a passionate advocate for dementia care. Inspired by her family's experience as caregivers for four loved ones with dementia, she founded DementiaCare Connect, an initiative aimed at empowering caregivers and healthcare providers with AI-powered tools to tackle Asia's growing dementia crisis.
Caroline's journey with DementiaCare Connect began with a simple yet bold vision. "We envisioned a future where caregivers and healthcare providers have access to the latest AI-powered tools to improve dementia care," she recalls.
The path to realising this vision was not without its challenges. Caroline and her team faced numerous hurdles, from securing funding to navigating the complexities of the healthcare industry. However, Caroline remained steadfast in her belief. "These challenges fueled my determination," she explains. "They pushed me to explore alternative approaches and seek out mentors and guidance."

The SUSS Venture Builder Programme played a crucial role in supporting Caroline's entrepreneurial journey. "The program provided invaluable mentorship and guidance," she shares. "It equipped us with the necessary tools and knowledge to refine our business plan and navigate the entrepreneurial landscape."
Receiving the Ngee Ann Kongsi - SUSS Impact Grant was a powerful validation of Caroline's vision. "It was a truly exhilarating moment," she shares. "It felt like all our hard work and perseverance had finally paid off."
