Han is a historian, sociologist and teacher by training with over 20 years’ experience in education, research and project management. His interest lies in evidence-based, multi-stakeholder and impact-oriented programmes that add value to communities and society. At the Centre of Excellence for Social Good, he nurtures working partnerships within and beyond the university community to do good better, guided by a collective impact model.

Prior to joining SUSS in 2024, he spent a decade developing translational research and implementing social innovation projects in Singapore and the region, variously designed to address social inequality, social investment, corporate social responsibility, enterprise development, non-profit capability and sustainable development. Han is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, and holds advanced degrees from SOAS London, University of Cambridge and Columbia University.
