Overview
The Minor/Specialist Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills to design, develop, and manage enterprises that address social and environmental challenges. It emphasises innovative thinking, sustainable business models, and impact-driven strategies that balance social purpose with financial viability. Through applied learning, participants learn to create meaningful change while fostering inclusive and sustainable growth.
Curriculum
The minor/specialist certificate consists of 6 courses, which can be completed within 2 years.
Courses with an asterisk can stack towards the BSc Business.

Eligibility
The specialist certificate is open to CET students as well as students enrolled in an undergraduate programme. Students enrolled in an undergraduate programme can take the specialist certificate as a minor.
Fees
For CET students who are taking the specialist certificate, please click here for the course fees. SkillsFuture Credit and other schemes may be used to offset the course fees.
The application fee is $60 (before GST) for first-time CET applications, which is non-refundable.
For students enrolled in an undergraduate programme who are taking the minor/specialist certificate, the part-time and full-time undergraduate course fees apply.
Completion
To attain the minor/specialist certificate, students need to pass all the courses. Students are encouraged to complete all the courses within 3 years.
Upon meeting the requirements, CET students can apply for the certificate and go on to pursue BSc Business. Only courses with at least a C grade can stack towards the bachelor’s degree.
Students enrolled in BSc Business or any other undergraduate programme will be automatically issued the certificate upon meeting the requirements.
