Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming how organisations operate, compete, and create value.
From finance and healthcare to logistics, retail, and public services, AI is increasingly embedded in business operations, customer engagement, and strategic decision-making.
In Singapore, AI capability development is a national priority under the National AI Strategy 2.0 (NAIS 2.0). As organisations continue investing in AI, demand is growing for professionals who can bridge AI capabilities and business needs.
The Minor in Artificial Intelligence for Business responds to this growing demand by providing students with a business-centric and interdisciplinary understanding of AI. Beyond understanding how AI works, students will learn how AI can be applied responsibly to support decision-making, improve operations, and address real-world business challenges.
Instead of focusing on the technical development of AI systems, the minor emphasises the evaluation, application, and management of AI technologies within business contexts. Students will explore emerging topics such as deep learning, AI agents, human-AI collaboration, and responsible AI through applied, business-focused learning.
