The SBIZ Professional Photoshoot Event was held on 18th - 20th February 2025, to help SBIZ students capture high-quality portraits for their resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and job applications.
Organised by the Student and Alumni Engagement Committee in SBIZ, the event featured an experienced photographer from an external studio, who set up a professional photoshoot on the SUSS campus. That’s right—no need to visit a studio!
Instead of a traditional studio setting, the organising committee transformed a seminar room into a professional and well-structured photoshoot space. The room was divided into multiple stations: a registration area, a waiting and preparation zone, and the main photoshoot station.
Recognising the value of the event, students from various programmes, including Accountancy, Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management, volunteered to assist with registration. With over 120 students registered, participants arrived in batches according to their assigned time slots. In the waiting area, mirrors were provided for final touch-ups, and blazers of different sizes were available for students to borrow if needed.
During the session, the photographer took multiple headshots of each student, offering guidance on posing and engaging in light conversations to capture natural expressions. After the shoot, students selected their favourite photo for professional editing, including minor retouching such as blemish and flyaway hair removal.
Student feedback on the event was overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the professionalism of the team.

All in all, the SBIZ Professional Photoshoot Event 2025 was a great success, with students appreciating the opportunity to enhance their professional image for internships and job applications.
