About Action Potential

Action Potential is a Psychology Clinic within SUSS that is open to the public. Psychological services such as therapy and assessment are provided by clinical psychologists in training who are supervised by registered professionals. All services are provided in English.

We provide a supportive space where individuals can make sense of what they’re going through, and find practical ways forward. Whether you’re navigating everyday stress, relationship challenges, or more complex emotional experiences, reach out to our team who are ready to support you. Our vision is to be a beacon of social good by partnering with the community to strengthen mental wellbeing and resilience.

We offer online therapy (i.e., teleconsultations) for a variety of presenting issues including low mood and depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, self-esteem, parenting, relationship difficulties, sleep, obsessive compulsive disorders, and disordered eating. Teleconsultations are only available for individuals 18 years old and above. We also offer face-to-face assessments for school readiness, applications to special schools, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.

As part of our commitment to accessible care, all teleconsultation fees are currently waived. Our waitlist is now open. Teleconsultations and assessments will be available from 12 May 2026 onwards.

Getting Started

Beginning can feel like the hardest step. Our process is designed to be straightforward and supportive. We start by first understanding your concerns and helping you decide on the most appropriate next steps. You will first receive a phone call or email to arrange for an initial 30-minute online session to find out more about your needs and concerns. This helps us assess whether our clinic is the right fit for your situation. Click here to view our full Terms of Service.

Do note that Action Potential does not offer emergency consultations. Individuals who require these services are encouraged to go to the nearest Accident and Emergency Department or call 995 for emergency. Action Potential also does not provide assessments for the purposes of medical, insurance, or legal purposes.

We invite you to take that step at your own pace.
