Synopsis
Text Mining and Applied Project Formulation (ANL312) covers text mining as well as topics related to formulating the Business Analytics Applied Project (ANL488). The course has two main aims: first, to expose students to the breadth and depth of text mining and its applications; second, to give students the opportunity to build a prototype for the Business Analytics Applied Project. This experience will prepare them for the actual project at the end of the programme. R programming will be used for hands-on applications of the topics covered.
