Synopsis
This course is designed for educators involved in designing learning and training for preemployment training (PET) and continuing education and training (CET) learners. Participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and tools required to create effective curricula that cater to the unique needs of diverse learner profiles. The course explores modern curriculum design models, applies contemporary learning theories and approaches to learner issues identified through needs analysis, and evaluates course blueprints for alignment with educational goals. Participants will learn how to create impactful course content for their field, enhancing the learning experience. Ultimately, the course aims to prepare educators to design learner-centred curricula for pre-employment training and continuing education and training that foster success for learners.
