Synopsis
This course is designed for pre-employment and continuing education and training educators, focusing on the diverse learners encountered in the modern educational landscape. This course equips educators with up-to-date knowledge, skills, and strategies required to teach and assess a broad spectrum of learners, including learners from pre-employment training (PET) and continuing education and training (CET) in institutes of higher education, industry academies, vocational institutions, and polytechnics. In this course, participants will explore a range of topics, including characteristics of PET and CET learners, contemporary theories and principles, innovative technology-mediated pedagogies, modern assessment strategies, etc. Opportunities will also be provided for participants to apply these pedagogical and assessment theories, frameworks, and principles in designing and implementing learning activities. After the course, participants will be well-prepared to create an inclusive and effective learning environment to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving educational landscape.
