Synopsis
How does the interplay between learner characteristics, culture, and context impact classroom practices? The centrality of the course is to answer this question by exploring the factors and issues involved in understanding learners, the context learners operate in, and how culture may influence them and their learning journey. At the end of the course, students will develop a deep understanding of the influence of cultural, social, and environmental factors on learning and development, and acquire skills to create inclusive and culturally responsive learning environments.
