Synopsis
GSS502 Global Security, Strategy and Leadership covers topics that will prepare students to face the challenges in a global competitive environment where threats are changing. Students learn about strategy formulation and leading the team in the execution of the plan and policy. This course will equip students with the management tools and frameworks as well as to develop effective leadership skills to lead performing security teams. This course will deep-dive into strategic decision-making process, organisational learning, corporate governance, change management process, and ways to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs) when formulating strategic plans. Students are required to analyse business case studies and participate in tabletop exercises to apply the skills in real-world scenarios.
