Synopsis

MTD115 Fundamentals of Digital Photography introduces students to the fundamental technologies and techniques of modern digital photography. Digital imagery is a prevalent and effective visual medium in digital media and creative industries. In this course, students will learn theoretical and practical skillsets that allow them to create digital photographs with efficient use of digital photography hardware and image processing software. Students will also understand and appreciate both technical and creative aspects of digital photographs. Students are to bring a digital camera that allows manual settings and variable focal length adjustments for this course.
