Synopsis
This interdisciplinary capstone course integrates knowledge and skills from various fields to tackle complex, real-world problems. Under the supervision of a Project Supervisor, students will work in multi-disciplinary teams to address a specific issue sponsored by an industry partner. In addition to the Project Supervisor who functions as the main advisor, students will also have access to a pool of faculty consultants, offering specialized expertise to support various aspects of their project. The course emphasises research, critical thinking, collaboration, and project management. By engaging with key stakeholders, students will develop practical solutions that are socially responsible, sustainable, and feasible. Students will test the prototypes of the proposed solutions and present their findings in a professional report and a public presentation, preparing them for a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world.
