Synopsis

TSL 508 TESOL Methods provides students with an insight into the methodology of teaching English as a second or foreign language in the Digital Age. Firstly, the course gives students an overview of recent language teaching methods and approaches. Secondly, the course examines different methods of teaching grammar and vocabulary, and the six skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing and representing. Finally, the course considers various methods of assessing the language skills.

Dr. Willy A. Renandya

Dr. Willy A. Renandya is a TESOL expert with many years of teaching experience across Asia, including in Singapore, China, Thailand, and Vietnam. He currently serves as an adjunct faculty at NIE Singapore, Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), and Wuhan University (China). He has delivered over 100 keynote presentations at global TESOL conferences and published his research in many well-known international TESOL journals. His publications are available on his Google Scholar Profile.
