Synopsis
DBA candidates are expected to complete a doctoral dissertation that reflects an original and independent scholarly contribution to the knowledge and practice in the fields of business and management. This will culminate in a thesis examination, which is followed by an oral defense. DBA candidates will be guided by dissertation supervisors in the completion of the chapters of their dissertations. The culmination of a doctoral candidate’s final stage of graduate research study lies in the writing, submission and defense of the dissertation.
