Synopsis
This course provides students with an understanding of the diverse challenges and practices involved in managing behavioural issues. Emphasis is placed on the use of proactive strategies, such as antecedent interventions, to prevent behavioural difficulties. Considerations for supporting individuals in inclusive settings are explored, alongside tools for identifying behavioural patterns, consequences, and underlying challenges. The course also examines how these insights inform the development of tailored intervention approaches and supports to enhance participation and learning for persons with disabilities
