Synopsis

This course provides practitioners and educators with an in-depth understanding of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and its impact on learning, behaviour, and social participation. Participants will explore the core characteristics of ADHD which includes inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity and how these manifest across different ages and environments. The course highlights practical approaches to support individuals with ADHD in educational and community contexts through structured routines, positive behaviour strategies, and strength-based interventions. Through case studies, reflective discussions, and evidence-based practices, participants will gain insights into creating supportive, inclusive, and engaging environments that empower individuals with ADHD to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
