Course Code: ECC504

Synopsis

ECC504 Design and Observation Analysis of Kindergarten Activities primarily aims to cultivate students' abilities to design, implement, and evaluate activities for kindergarten children in the field of early childhood education, enabling them to assess activity effectiveness through observation and analysis. The course will cover topics such as kindergarten educational activity design from different conceptual perspectives, education activity design based on kindergarten observation and evaluation, setting goals for kindergarten educational activities, selecting content, organizing implementation, and activity evaluation. Through the analysis of practical cases in kindergarten educational activities, students will enhance their understanding and application of the basic principles and methods of activity design. Additionally, by combining mainstream curriculum models such as activity area activities, domain teaching, and thematic unit activities, the course adopts a combination of theoretical teaching and practical exercises to help students master the design, implementation, and guiding principles of these models.
