Synopsis

ECC508 Assessment of Early Childhood Development and Learning aims to explore theories, practices, and research methods related to early childhood development and learning assessment. Participants will gain insights into different aspects of child development and learn to assess and support young children's learning effectively. The course will cover selecting, designing, and using assessment tools, and how assessment results impact teaching practices and child development. Additionally, it aims to raise awareness of early childhood education quality, adapt to local cultural contexts, master assessment methods, and improve evaluation skills.
