Synopsis

ECC509 Early Childhood Mental Health and Special Education aims to provide students with comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge to facilitate effective management and support for the mental health and special education needs of young children. The curriculum covers identification, assessment, and intervention strategies for early childhood mental health issues, as well as the design, implementation, and evaluation of special education services. Students will learn how to collaborate with families, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders to provide comprehensive support and care for young children, promoting their holistic development and social integration.
