This course aims to provide knowledge and skills in two main areas of children's literature. The first area covers the essential theoretical knowledge related to children's literature which will include essential concepts and features of the main genres in children's literature, especially in terms of its relationships with child development. The other areas encompass the characteristics of children’s readers, the abilities to appreciate specific literature and transfer these skills in the practical teaching context.

E-Learning: BLENDED - Learning is done MAINLY online using interactive study materials in Canvas. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and emails. This is supplemented with SOME face-to-face sessions. If the course has an exam component, this will be administered on-campus.
