Course Code: HCM540

Synopsis

HCM540 integrates key elements of project management, consulting, and human capital analytics to equip learners with the skills to lead, advise on, and evaluate human capital initiatives. The course connects both internal consulting practices—where HR professionals operate as advisors within their own organisations—and external consulting practices—where consultants are engaged by clients to deliver independent advice and solutions. These perspectives are applied to the design, execution, and measurement of human capital projects. Students will develop competencies in stakeholder engagement, consulting frameworks, change management, data analysis, and performance evaluation. Through case studies and project-based learning, learners will build both strategic and analytical capabilities relevant to today’s workforce and organisational needs.
