Synopsis
SWK517 Advanced Integrated Practice for Social Work offers Master of Social Work (MSW) students a comprehensive framework for social work practice by integrating essential knowledge, skills, values, and interventions across various levels, including individual, family, group, community, and social systems. The primary objective is to prepare students for leadership roles within complex multi-service environments by enhancing their competencies in interprofessional collaboration, culturally responsive practice, critical understanding of social policies, and the application of integrated frameworks. Emphasizing biopsychosocial, ecological, and strengths-based perspectives, this course aims to equip students with the necessary tools to address the diverse social service landscape present in the dynamic society of Singapore.
