Building on the basic research skills employed in the research and evaluation course, students work with the appointed supervisors to identify a problem in practice or an intervention that is recognised and for which more knowledge is needed and work on a project to develop more in-depth research skills and further explore the linkages between research, theory and practice. The length of the project is 8,000 words.
