The SUSS First Year Assembly (FYA) formally welcomes freshmen into our community of learning and social impact, while commemorating Singapore's 61st National Day. This special occasion brings together students, faculty and peers to celebrate student talents, share SUSS's values as a university for social good, and honour our nation's progress.

Attendance is expected for Full-Time Freshmen. RSVP your attendance via Freshmen Orientation Form. Failure to attend the programme must be accompanied with supporting documents must be uploaded in the same form.

Seats are limited for freshmen enrolled in Part-Time, SLAW and Postgraduate programmes.

  • Tops: Collared shirts, blouses, button-down shirts, or modest tops (avoid graphic tees or tank tops).
  • Bottoms: Trousers, chinos, skirts, knee-length (or longer) skirts or dresses (avoid shorts or distressed jeans).
  • Shoes: Closed-toe shoes or smart sneakers (avoid flip-flops or overly casual footwear).
