Accessible and Inclusive Learning
SUSS strives to promote an accessible and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Students with disabilities or those with accessibility needs are encouraged to get in touch with Student Accessibility Support (SAS). A formal diagnosis is not required to initiate a conversation - simply reach out to [email protected] for further discussion.
Prospective students who have queries about accessibility support are also welcome to reach out to the SAS team.
Student Accessibility Support (SAS) is overseen by SUSS Student Life (STL) from the Student Success Centre (SSC). SAS works collaboratively with students and relevant departments to facilitate access arrangements and accommodations for students with disabilities both in the academic and non-academic settings.

Student Accessibility Support (SAS) facilitates access and accommodation requests for students with: Physical Disabilities This refers to either a total or partial loss of bodily functions such as the ability to walk, or a total or partial loss of a part of the body.
Long-Term Medical Conditions or Impairments |
You may submit your request for access arrangement or accommodation via the SAS Application Form. Depending on the support needed, students may be required to provide a supporting document that must be dated within one year from the application date. Student Accessibility Support (SAS) accepts supporting documents from a healthcare specialist, which includes audiologist, psychiatrist, psychologist, occupational therapist, and/ or speech and language therapist. The SEALS Buddy Programme is an initiative by SUSS Student Life and Advocacy Group SUSS SEALS designed to empower students with disabilities by fostering peer support and meaningful connection within the university community. Students in the programme will be matched with a SEALS Buddy – a fellow student who offers guidance, support, and companionship in their university journey. The programme provides a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment to grow peer networks and enhance the university experience. The commitment spans six months, with the flexibility to opt out at any time without obligation to complete the full duration. Eligibility Open to students with:
