What Is Pitch for Good?

Pitch for Good (PFG) is where good ideas move beyond the pitch. We're the place where "I have an idea!" becomes "We’re piloting with partners!"

An initiative by the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) with support from Ngee Ann Kongsi, PFG brings together innovators, experts, and people who genuinely want to make things better to tackle the social challenges that matter most in Asia.

This is not just a competition. It is the beginning of your impact journey.

If you're an entrepreneur who believes business should solve real problems, this is where you belong. We bring together purpose-driven founders from across Southeast Asia. The best solutions don't come from working alone.

At PFG, you're not just pitching; you're joining a community of founders who share your values and your drive to build businesses that actually matter.

We live in a digital world, but we're big believers that the best technology is the kind you don't even notice. We focus on human-centric design, which is another way of saying: let's build things that actually work for real people and communities, not just chase profits. We're not just giving you a microphone for five minutes. When you join PFG, you get connected to SUSS's network of social sector partners, learn from people who've been there and done that, and get the support you need to turn your purpose-driven idea into something that actually works in the real world.

2025 Winners

Pitch for Good Winner (Gold)

Soundeye Pte Ltd

With a growing older adult population, home safety is a key concern—20-30% experience falls annually. Many prefer aging at home, but risks persist without proper monitoring.

SoundEye offers a privacy-preserving fall detection system using depth imaging and scream detection for instant alerts. It includes smart lighting to prevent nighttime falls and is affordable, easy to install, non-intrusive (no cameras or wearables), fully privacy-compliant, and fits existing ceiling light points without major renovations.

Pitch for Good Winner (Silver)

Sentinan Pte Ltd

A healthtech startup building the future of cardiac and pulmonary diagnostics through explainable AI and digital auscultation. Their solution combines FDA-approved stethoscope hardware with proprietary AI that detects and explains heart and lung abnormalities — helping clinicians detect conditions like valve disorders, heart failure, and pneumonia earlier and with greater confidence.

Special Mention Award Winner

MIEA Health

Many eldercare facilities still rely on paper records, despite efforts like the S$18M Community Care Digital Transformation grant to boost digital adoption.

MIEA (Machine Intelligence Equal Access) offers an AI-powered Appointment Concierge that automates booking, answers patient queries, tracks satisfaction, and sends follow-up nudges—available 24/7 via chat. Partnering with Tetsuyu Healthcare, MIEA is now integrated into their Clinic Management System, designed for eldercare and social service providers.
