The awardee(s) is/are expected to demonstrate strong collaboration with various internal/external stakeholders in the community for positive and sustainable community outcomes.

The SUSS Provost 3H Fund – Community Impact Award is open for self-nomination and nomination. We welcome self-nomination from students; and nominations from students, faculty, staff, industry and community partners working directly with our students.

A cash award of $3,000 will be given each academic year to the student/student group with the most impactful project. The award may be channelled to the community to further sustain community initiatives.

Award winners are expected to fulfil responsibilities such as being featured on publicity platforms and serving as SUSS ambassadors at SUSS events.

Award Criteria:

The nominated project is required to fulfil the following criteria: 

• Meets an identified community and/or social priority 
• Exhibits strong collaboration with relevant and significant stakeholders to achieve project’s outcomes 
• Showcases impact on the community (through stories, quotes, statistics, social media posts, advocacy artefacts etc.) 
• Demonstrates potential for further expansion and/or development

2026 Nomination Timeline:

Awardees will be announced by the end of August 2026 and will receive their award at the SUSS Scholarship Award Ceremony. The decision of the award recipient by the Selection Panel is final.

The Provost 3H Fund was established to honour SUSS' Founding Provost for his pioneering spirit and innovative leadership. The Provost 3H Fund aims to inspire students to embrace innovation in their educational pursuits while reinforcing the spirit of resilience and a passion for lifelong learning.
