The learning of the Chinese Language for children should be fun, developmentally and functionally appropriate. As language is alive and dynamic, early childhood Chinese Language teachers have to connect teaching and learning to our local culture and make them relevant to the daily lives of children. Four experts from Shenyang, Tianjing and Tainan will share their expertise on teaching Chinese as a living language through an inspirational journey of learning at the 2019 Singapore Early Childhood Education Chinese Symposium.

语言是人际交往所需的重要工具，在人的一生中，掌握语言最迅速，也是最关键的时期则是幼儿期。孩子呱呱堕地就要和外界环境进行交流与沟通，他们的生活离不开语言，语言也在生活中不断地丰富与精彩。新加坡学前华文教育目标之一，就是提高幼儿对华语文学习的兴趣，并能将华语活用于日常生活中。

2019新加坡学前教育论坛以“儿童•语言•生活”为主题，邀请四位来自沈阳、天津和台南的学前教育专家前来探讨幼儿语言教学的理论与实践策略，以为本地幼教老师在设计课程和活动方面带来启发。
