This talk will provide an introductory overview of the profound relevance of contemporary psychoanalytic understanding in relation to the normal socio-emotional development of young adults. Dr. Anthony Ang Wee Kiat will illuminate how our early experiences shape us, presenting a compelling clinical case example to illustrate the onset of maladaptive psychopathology when the development of the sense of self is interrupted.
