Synopsis of the Talk

Speaker

Dr. Cheng Yao is the Principal AI Expert at AIQURIS, where she empowers organizations to adopt AI technologies with confidence. With over a decade of experience in the cybersecurity and AI sectors, she combines industry-leading expertise with a strong academic foundation. She has an extensive record of publications in trustworthy AI technologies and remains at the forefront of advancing cutting-edge solutions in the field. She is a certified TÜV SÜD AI Quality Trainer and an IEEE CertifAIEd Lead Assessor. As an active member of the Singapore Artificial Intelligence Technical Committee, she contributes to the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42 standards on artificial intelligence. Previously, she worked as a Senior Researcher at Huawei International and as a Research Scientist at A*STAR. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
