Synopsis of the Talk

Around the world, ageing societies are experiencing increased needs in integrated care systems. Emerging technologies can contribute to counteracting the lack of care workers and family members. The use of technology in both healthcare settings and the community like Japan, Korea and China in Asia have helped to alleviate these challenges. Countries have implemented important policy measures to increase usability and the availability of solutions, public funding, and training.
