This workshop offers an overview of Singapore’s evolving landscape of disability care, beginning with an introduction to the different types of diagnoses that individuals with disabilities may have and how these conditions are typically understood in educational and social service contexts. Participants will also gain insight into the wide range of programmes and services available across the country—from early intervention and schooling options to adult day services, employment support, and community-based inclusion initiatives. Through this session, attendees will develop a clearer understanding of how Singapore supports individuals with disabilities across their life stages and how these systems work together to promote dignity, participation, and meaningful living.
