Synopsis of the Talk

This session introduces the fundamentals of artificial intelligence (AI) and explores its opportunities, limitations, ethical considerations, and potential risks, including misinformation and AI-generated content. Participants will also discover some practical AI applications that can support sustainability initiatives in organisations. The session aims to equip participants with future-ready knowledge and skills while exploring opportunities to obtain an AI certificate from AI Singapore and/or the ASEAN Foundation with no cost, subject to course requirements.


Speaker’s Biodata

AI Speaker

Associate Professor Huong Ha is the Head of the Master and Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Management Programmes and Co-Chair of the Sustainability Committee at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). She holds a PhD from Monash University, Australia, and a Master's degree in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore.

As an AI Ready ASEAN Master Trainer certified by AI Singapore and the ASEAN Foundation, Associate Professor Ha's work focuses on sustainability, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, governance, and organisational change. She has contributed to research, training, and consultancy initiatives supported by international organisations, including the OECD/the Asian Development Bank (ADB), ADB/UN ESCAP, and the IMF eLibrary Forum.

Through her research, teaching, and professional engagements, she explores how organisations and individuals can leverage AI, innovation, and effective change management to advance sustainable development and create positive social and environmental impact.
