On 4 November, 2019, SUSS signed an MOU with State Courts of Singapore to jointly develop and launch the Legal Clerkship Programme, which provides law students with practical training and applied learning. This partnership allows our Law Programme students to gain experiential knowledge of criminal law practice from a judicial perspective and provide them with the actual court environment to further their clinical legal education.
The MOU took place together with the launch of two guide books on defamation and tribunals. The books were written by judges from the State Courts, with contributions from other individuals in the legal industry.
