SBIZ Student Wins Best Presenter Award

On 10 February 2018, a team of five School of Business (SBIZ) students participated in the annual CFA Institute University Investment Research Challenge, held at the Bloomberg Auditorium. The Challenge is a global competition and educational initiative that promotes best practices in equity research among the next generation of analysts. 

This year, the Local Challenge 2018 had eight competing teams from ESSEC Business School, National University of Singapore (NUS), NUS-Yale, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design, SIM Global Education (SIM GE) and our very own SUSS SBIZ students. It was a tough competition, and the winner was SIM GE team. However, our students did a great job too, with one of the team members, Ms Yeap Mei Ling, a part-time Finance student, receiving the Best Presenter Award.
