Gabriel Loh Chee Hong from NSHD participated in both Captain’s Ball and Tug of War at ISG 2025. For him, it was a refreshing chance to connect with students beyond academics. “It was nice to talk and play with others without mentioning GBAs,” he shared. A three-time cancer survivor, Gabriel appreciated the inclusive and light-hearted atmosphere, adding, “Even though I might not be as physically fit, it was great to be part of it.”
Ms Christina Lau, a national Para Table Tennis athlete, dropped by ISG to join in the fun!

We were honoured to have Singapore’s national Para Table Tennis athletes join us at ISG 2025. In addition to competing in Captain’s Ball and Tug of War, participants had the unique opportunity to engage and experience playing alongside these inspiring athletes in a game of Para Table Tennis. National Ultimate Frisbee athlete and Year 3 Marketing student, Ms. Christina Seow, shared how events like ISG create meaningful spaces where people with and without disabilities can come together through shared experiences – playing the same game with the same spirit.
“Persons with disabilities can also excel,” she said proudly.
Her words remind us that sports are for everyone, and we hope to continue championing inclusive sporting opportunities for all!
Dean of Students, Ms Yeo Lay, presents the inaugural ISG championship trophy to Associate Professor Ding Ding, Dean of SBIZ, in celebration of their well-earned victory.
Congratulations to the School of Business (SBIZ) for clinching the inaugural ISG 2025 Championship Trophy! A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making the first ISG a success – we look forward to seeing you all again at ISG 2026!
ISG serves as a valuable platform for SUSS to connect students, faculty, and staff, fostering school spirit and promoting the Olympic values of friendship, respect, and excellence. We also aim to feature more para sports in future events and continue growing inclusive sports within the SUSS community. Thank you to all who participated. We look forward to seeing you at ISG 2026!
