SUSS Music IG (MIG)’s Voices celebrates a significant milestone by achieving yet another sell-out concert for Cantabile 2025: Echoes from the Stars

SUSS Voices enchants the audience with a heartfelt rendition of “The Seal Lullaby,” a tender choral piece composed by Eric Whitacre.

SUSS Voices lights up the stage with a captivating performance of the La La Land medley, beautifully arranged by Mark Brymer.

The concert raised greater awareness of the choral scene at SUSS and also provided performance opportunities for members. The event involved 23 performers, comprising not only members but also for the first time, MIG Voices Alumni who returned specially to sing for the concert. SUSS Voices presented a repertoire of 14 songs encompassing jazz-inspired pieces, classical arrangements, lyrical ballads and a notable medley from a well-known musical romantic comedy "La La Land".

An enthusiastic crowd fills the concert hall with energy and applause at Cantabile 2025, cheering on every performance with unwavering support.

Members of the audience were seen swaying along to the lively tunes, thoroughly enjoying the concert and showing support by providing performers with thunderous rounds of applause after every song.

Low Chih Yu, a SUSS Voices member and full-time Human Resource Management student, shared, “Being part of Cantabile 2025 as a bass has been such a fulfilling experience. Despite the challenges we faced along the way, I believe we came together and delivered something truly special. This performance reminded me of the power of collaboration and how music connects us beyond words. I'm proud of what we’ve achieved, and even more excited for what’s to come. This is only the beginning.”

The preparation for the concert also witnessed the strong collaboration between the SUSS MIG sub-groups with members from Jammers and Philharmonic coming together to support in the management of the concert. The contributions of all members involved were instrumental in ensuring the success and seamless operation of the concert.
