SensaXion, also known as SenX, was established in 2021 as SUSS’ official Street Dance Club, with the goal of creating a conducive and inclusive dance community for SUSS students to showcase their talent and passion for dance.

SensaXion awarded second place at RPresenting to The Fullest 17
This year, SensaXion has stepped up their efforts to make a name for themselves in the dance scene by participating in multiple competitions, one of which was RPresenting to The Fullest 17, where 6 of their dancers competed.

SensaXion pushing their limits on stage
After undergoing internal auditions amongst 15 other crews, SensaXion emerged as one of the top 8 crews to compete in the finals. Bearing the pressure of last year’s team, who placed 3rd, this year’s team truly showed the audience that they were not just aiming to win – they were there to make a statement and show everyone who SensaXion really is. The journey was not only a test of the dancers’ technical skills, but also of their discipline and resilience, as they pushed through multiple setbacks, including self-doubt and packed schedules filled with assignments and exams.

As a 4-year-old dance club, the opportunity to share the stage with other seasoned dancers and achieve this milestone held deep significance not only for the competition team but also for every dancer who supported and believed in them. That night marked a pivotal moment in SensaXion’s journey – the beginning of a new era defined by recognition, pride, and unity.

Vaniz Pang, SUSS Year 2 Marketing student, reflected, “I am immensely thankful for the 5 other dancers who never stopped believing in themselves and in the team. Their growth as dancers and as individuals has been incredible. This achievement would also not have been possible without the constant encouragement and support from the rest of our dancers. I hope that this competition has strengthened our identity as a club and inspired hope and motivation that SensaXion is capable of achieving so much more in the near future.”
