SUSS Boxing together with SIM Boxing
SUSS Boxing IG partnered with SIM Boxing for a collaborative session on 30th May 2025. The session, which had 24 participants, was led by experienced national boxer Eugene Mok.
The session was a masterclass in boxing fundamentals, with Coach Eugene Mok strongly emphasising footwork. Participants benefited from practical tips and techniques that sharpened their movement and reinforced the critical role of footwork in the sport.

After the coach-led training, SUSS Boxing members interacted with other training participants from SIM. Some paired up to assist each other in training, while others engaged in light sparring to refine their skills. The exchange encouraged improvement in techniques and fostered new friendships between students from both schools.
This inter-school training was the first step in creating a new alliance between SUSS and SIM. With the first collaboration between the two schools a success, there are more opportunities for both sides to collaborate on additional training and other events! This also signifies the growth of SUSS Boxing IG, as it forges new connections and makes new friends as the interest group grows. SUSS Boxing member Hong Ren expressed, “It was exciting to meet and train with new faces. Despite coming from different schools, there was a strong sense of mutual respect and a shared passion for the sport”.
