A special guest - 90-year-old Japanese supercoder, Ms Masako Wakamiya also joined us in the inaugural event. Ms Wakamiya, who inspired more than 100 attendees with her passion for lifelong learning and creativity, shared her fondness for rhythmic ball drumming. She also sportingly interacted with SUSS Alumni, students and community drummers, as well as three drumming students from National Cheng Kung University.

With these newly certified trainers, we can expect the rhythmic ball drumming exercise to expand within the active ageing community, reaching beyond the 38 Active Ageing Centres currently partnered with SUSS and People’s Association community hubs.
