In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, SK Jewellery partnered with the Production Interest Group (PDIG) to launch 60 & Still Gold—a bold campaign featuring seniors from Loving Hearts Multi-Service Centre as vibrant models.
They trusted PDIG to capture their charm and wisdom while presenting them in an artistic and modern light, emphasizing how awe-inspiring people can be regardless of age. We were honored to deliver, with PDIG’s first campaign involvement, and to craft a visual story that reminds us all: beauty doesn’t fade with age, it evolves.

PDIG delivered portrait photographs, strategising from pre-production preparations to post-production and studio set-up while observing various production aspects. This includes different professionals working in their element, such as the TikToker Kristian Lenardt, who worked to style and direct the models, makeup artists and videographers. PDIG members, Lester Thomas, Rebecca Koh and Sanjana Bondugula worked closely with the models, finding joy in communicating, bonding, learning their stories and using that human experience to influence their storytelling.
Lester recognised the importance of maintaining clear structure and pace during a time-sensitive shoot. He used the chance to adapt and support the team spirit of the shoot, learn new skills and help keep to the schedule. He also reflected on how the seniors’ love for their work made the jewellery they modelled feel meaningful. This experience affirmed how important it is to connect with your subjects, something he already values in his personal work, and something he’ll continue to prioritise.

Makeup artists from Autelier Makeup are styling the model, David Lee.

Rebecca is planning her shots while instructing the model to pose in a certain manner.
As with any projects, there are bound to be small hiccups along the way. When photographing the jewellery during the first portrait, the camera’s aperture was not wide enough to capture some of its intricate details. Rebecca reacted quickly during the post-shoot editing by using the close-up shots she had taken beforehand, to superimpose the jewellery and meticulously edit the photo seamlessly.
Throughout the entire production, SK Jewellery was incredibly accommodating and supportive. They provided our photographers with a clear direction on what the outcome would look like and patiently resolved any queries we had. While on set, SK Jewellery staff took an active role in ensuring the shoot went well, facilitating communication between our photographers and the stylists and making any necessary adjustments. Sanjana, our junior photographer, appreciated how they would check the photos during each shoot and provide valuable feedback while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Sanjana is discussing with Su Ann, SK Jewellery’s Head of Marketing, about the BTS photos.

Photos taken by PDIG were displayed at SK Jewellery’s Bugis Junction Outlet from 28 July to 10 August 2025.
As the collaboration draws to a close, we would like to thank SK Jewellery for providing PDIG with this meaningful opportunity to experience a full production from start to finish. In addition to working alongside professionals from various fields, we are grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in such a wonderful cause.
