On 23 April 2026, the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), in partnership with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), proudly celebrated the achievements of the eleventh cohort of graduates from the Aerospace Engineering Programme for Maintenance Leaders (AEPML).

Since its inception in 2014, the AEPML has been a testament to the strong and enduring collaboration between SUSS and the RSAF. Designed as an intensive one-year programme, it equips RSAF service members with advanced knowledge and skills in aerospace and electronics engineering. With the graduation of 23 students this year, the programme has now produced a total of 189 graduates.

Prof. Chui Yoon Ping, Dean, School of Science & Technology (SUSS) and ME7 Gabriel Tham, Head of Air Engineering and Logistics (RSAF).

Over three semesters, the cohort undertook a rigorous curriculum comprising 15 courses and a capstone proposal project. Their efforts have enabled them to attain 44% of the credits required for an honours engineering degree. This is an impressive achievement within a condensed timeframe.

This cohort distinguished itself through strong academic performance and exemplary commitment. SUSS lecturers commended the students for their motivation, diligence and intellectual curiosity. Their active participation and engagement contributed to a vibrant learning environment, enriching discussions and enhancing the overall educational experience. In many ways, they have set a high benchmark and served as an inspiration to their peers.

Assoc. Prof. Chui Yoon Ping, Dean of the School of Science & Technology, presented the Certificate of Completion to the top-performing graduate, Mr Teo Hu Seng (Alvin), in recognition of his hard work and dedication.

The graduates’ accomplishments reflect not only their technical growth in aerospace and electronics engineering but also their readiness to take on greater responsibilities within the RSAF. Their resilience and dedication underscore the values the AEPML seeks to cultivate in future maintenance leaders.

SUSS, together with the RSAF and the graduates’ families and friends, celebrates this milestone with great pride and extends heartfelt congratulations to the cohort. The University looks forward to its continued success and contributions to the aerospace sector.
