The IAIC Multi-Region Study Report 2025 presents insights into how older adults across Singapore, Canada, Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR of China, and the United Kingdom experience ageing and define what it means to age well. Through a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, the study explores the everyday experiences, values and coping strategies that shape later life in different cultural and social contexts.
About the Study
The IAIC Multi-Region Study 2025 is the Alliance’s inaugural cross-regional research initiative examining how older adults perceive ageing, what ageing well means to them and how they navigate later-life transitions. Conducted independently by research teams across five regions, the study provides a rich understanding of later life across diverse cultural landscapes.
Regions Included:
- Canada
- Mainland China
- Hong Kong SAR of China
- Singapore
- United Kingdom
The Study Examines:
- How older adults perceive ageing across eight life domains
- What “ageing well” means in different contexts
