Transforming healthcare delivery for the better
A tripartite MOU was signed between SingHealth, SUSS and SUTD to address key areas impacting population health in Singapore. These include ageing-in-place, brain health and cognition, and social isolation. Building on cross-sector collaboration to tackle these challenges, the objective of this multi-agency initiative is to combine institutional strengths in research to deliver positive health, societal, and economic outcomes, and ultimately extend the span of healthy years for Singaporeans.
The partnership seeks to build a robust, multi-disciplinary population health research ecosystem by integrating SingHealth's clinical expertise, social science insights from SUSS, and technological expertise from SUTD. By combining these strengths, the partnership can use data, design, and on-the-ground insights to support healthy ageing and improve healthcare delivery for Singapore’s ageing population.
