ACE-SUSS Professional Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Fundraising

 

Unlock your entrepreneurial potential with our Professional Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Fundraising that is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in the dynamic world of entrepreneurship and fundraising.

Developed in collaboration with Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), this program consists of three intensive workshops, each curated to address key aspects of the startup ecosystem. From topics such as learning the fundamentals of building a startup, creating ventures with a social impact, go-to-market and fundraising strategies, participants will be empowered with the knowledge, skills and network to transform their innovative ideas into a successful business.

Certification

To earn the ACE-SUSS Professional Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Fundraising, participants must:

  • Achieve a minimum of 75% attendance in each course.
  • Successfully complete and pass the assessments for all three modules within three years of enrolment.

Upon meeting these requirements, participants can apply for their certificate by submitting the completion dates for all three courses to SUSS Academy at [email protected].

(CET187) Angel Investor Funding Strategies: A Comprehensive Guide

This course presents participants with knowledge and skills required in successfully raising funds from angel investors. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the process of raising funds from angel investors, and skills and knowledge needed to successfully navigate the process. The course is conducted through a series of exercises and case studies, as well as receive feedback and guidance from seasoned angel investors and entrepreneurs.

(CET188) Startup Accelerator: Building and Growing Your Business

This course presents participants with fundamentals of building a startup, by equipping them with key insights, best practices, essential knowledge, and capabilities to grow their business.

Participants will gain accelerated understanding of local startup ecosystem, develop go-to-market strategies before launching their product/services, and craft a compelling pitch. The course is conducted by seasoned entrepreneurs with strong industry knowledge and experiences and have built their own successful startups.

(CET189) Creating Sustainable Impact: Building Purposeful Ventures

This course presents participants with fundamentals in building a sustainable and/or impact startup and creating a lasting positive impact to both environment and the society. The participants will not only gain the knowledge and skills of how to build a startup, but also understand both the theory and practical insights of impact measurement. The course is conducted in a workshop style by experienced entrepreneurs and mentors.

Participants will walk away with the knowledge of how to read an impact report, develop a corporate impact storytelling strategy, and get connected with impact investors through an impact platform.

The course is a collaborative effort with ACE.SG (Action Community for Entrepreneurship)

Upon successful completion of the three courses, a professional certificate will be issued by SUSS to the students to recognise their competency in the relevant fields.
