To qualify for the certificate, participants simply need to complete any three of the listed courses. This flexible pathway allows participants to tailor their learning according to their interests and organisational needs, while gaining practical insights and leadership capabilities that can be immediately applied to strengthen their community initiatives.

Certification
To earn the Professional Certificate in Community Leadership, participants must:
- Achieve a minimum of 75% attendance in each course.
- Successfully complete and pass the assessments for all three modules within three years of enrolment.
Upon meeting these requirements, participants can apply for their certificate by submitting the completion dates for all three courses to SUSS Academy at [email protected].

The course will introduce the fundamentals of strategic thinking, environmental scanning, and internal assessment specific to the nonprofit sector, equipping participants with the tools needed to formulate and implement effective strategies. In addition, the program will dive into the evolution of non-profits and volunteer-based organizations to explore strategic and leadership planning. Through a combination of lectures and discussions, participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of strategic and leadership best practices to drive organizational sustainability. | |
| 3 | This one day course is designed to equip clan association professionals with the essential tools and strategies needed to successfully plan, execute, and promote events while leveraging the power of social media. The course focuses on modern event management techniques, integrating online platforms, and using social media to engage members, promote events, and create lasting experiences. | |
| 4 | (CET175) Introduction to Generative Artificial Intelligence | Introduction to Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a course that provides an overview of generative models and their applications in AI. By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand the concept of AI, Generative AI and their real-world applications. Participants will also learn how to effectively use generative AI models and popular tools such as ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion. |
| 5 | (CET199) Governance and Financial Management | This one-day course is designed to equip leaders, staff and volunteers of clan associations with essential knowledge and practical skills in governance and financial management. The course will provide participants with a foundational understanding of governance principles, strategic leadership, and effective financial oversight necessary to ensure the sustainability and success of their organizations. |
Upon successful completion of the three courses, a professional certificate will be issued by SUSS to the students to recognise their competency in the relevant fields.
